What is CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder)?
This performance tool was developed by Gallup through decades of research. It all started with one question by psychologist Don Clifton: “What would happen if we studied what is right with people versus what is wrong with people?” Through years of studying some of the brightest and most successful people in the world, they discovered patterns of talents which led to the highest achievements.
When people know their own talents, they can begin to flourish in life and in work. Gallup developed an assessment to uncover talents, measuring patterns of thoughts, feeling, behaviors. Since 2001, this 177 questionnaire, known as the CliftonStrengths assessment or StrengthsFinder, has helped over 18 million people find what makes them uniquely exceptional. Is it a Personality Test?
No. This assessment won’t tell you if you are introverted or extroverted. It will, however, teach both introverts and extroverts what they need to succeed and help them understand how they interact with others.
